Gloucester County School Board Officially Rescinds Transgender Bathroom Policy

The Gloucester County School Board has officially rescinded the policy regarding the use of school restrooms after an appeal to a federal court ruling was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court. The Gazette-Journal reports the board voted 5-1 at its meeting last Monday to end the 2014 resolution that led to a student filing a lawsuit which resulted in several years of litigation. There were no other items on the Board’s agenda and a public comment period was not held.
