The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society is participating in the annual “Clear the Shelters” adoption campaign. Chief Executive Officer April Martinez says with their intake more than doubled compared with 2020 they are especially excited for this year’s event and the opportunities it brings to help homeless pets and update friends and supporters about efforts to save and transform the lives of pets in need. The campaign runs from Aug. 23 through Sept.19.
