Attorney General Mark Herring urged the Federal Communications Commission to fight back against robocalls by moving up the deadline for smaller telephone companies to implement caller ID technology. Herring joined more than 50 other attorneys general submitting comments to the FCC. Larger phone companies were required to have the systems in place by last June but smaller companies were given an extension until June of 2023. The AGs want that moved to June of next year.
