Gov. Ralph Northam says he’s hoping more Virginians will get the COVID-19 vaccine now that the FDA gave the Pfizer vaccine full approval for those 16 and older. Until now all 3 COVID-19 vaccines have received an emergency use authorization and that authorization remains in effect for 12- to 15-year-olds getting the Pfizer vaccine. The Virginia Department of Health says around 3 in 4 Virginians over the age of 18 have received at least one COVID-19 dose.
