If you’ve ever thought about playing the bagpipes or drums, you have a chance to learn from the Kilmarnock & District Pipe Band. Pipe sergeant William Harrison tells the Rappahannock Record the ban plays for public events as well at area parades and supplies pipers for weddings and funerals on request. Practice takes place every Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church on Weems Road. Interested visitors are welcome to sit in.
