Northern Neck Electric Cooperative officials are encouraging members with past-due bills to make arrangements with them before Virginia’s service disconnection moratorium ends on August 29. Officials say members who are 30 days or more past-due can receive a COVID-19 Relief Repayment Plan at this time. The cooperative voluntarily suspended disconnects when the pandemic began and later Virginia imposed the disconnect moratorium for the duration of the state of emergency.
