Redistricting Commission Moves To Virtual Meeting

The Virginia Redistricting Commission meeting that was to tae place today is now moved to Thursday because a commission member tested positive for COVID-19. Officials say because of that positive test the rescheduled meeting will be virtual and rules prohibit voting on any motions unless the meeting is in-person. The commission is redrawing election districts from scratch and once completed the General Assembly will then vote on the new boundaries.
