Richmond County is expanding its EMS services. According to Northern Neck News the county will be spending up to $300,000 to add a second crew with the county adding 6 new fulltime emergency medical technician jobs. The addition means both of the county’s EMS vehicles will be available 24/7. Currently only one is available around the clock with the other from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The change takes effect October 1.
