Officials with the Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project will be in Browns Stone on Tuesday to meet with homeowners needing assistance getting access to clean drinking water, working indoor plumbing and wastewater facilities. According to the Rappahannock Record the meeting will be at the Northumberland County Community Center starting at 5:00 p.m. The Roanoke-based nonprofit works to help get access to safe water, sanitary water disposal, and structurally sound housing across a seven state region.
