A soldier from Tappahannock is being praised for saving a boy’s life while on a training mission in Hawaii. Sgt. Anthony Tunstall was conducting an escorted visit in northern Oahu when they learned a drowning child was brought ashore so Sgt. Tunstall who is a trained emergency medical technician began first aid and CPR. He was able to revive the child before paramedics arrived. The boy was hospitalized and has since been released.
