Next time you drive down Cross St. in Urbanna at night you may notice the street lights look a little different. According to the Southside Sentinel that’s because the lights are now solar-powered. It’s a joint project between the town and the Urbanna Beautification Committee and has been in the works for several years. The 20 pole lamps were installed during the last week of July.
