Change is coming to trash pickups in Urbanna. According to the Southside Sentinel beginning Aug. 12 there will be pickups on Tuesday and Fridays but on Nov. 12 that changes to a Tuesday-only pickup through next April. Curbside recycling pickups will end qrfter Aug. 11 so after then recycleables can be taken to the Middlesex County Transfer Station-Stormont on Fairway Road in Saluda. The changes are the result of the town selecting a new trash hauler.
