The Virginia Pesticide Collection Program holds a collection event in Warsaw on Tuesday at Helena Agri-Enterprises on Commerce Parkway from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The program collects unwanted, outdated or banned pesticides and disposes of them in a safe manner. There is no cost to participate. Since its inception, the Program collected and destroyed more than 1.5 million pounds of outdated and unwanted pesticides, protecting public health and eliminating the environmental threat they could have posed.
