Town of Warsaw officials observed “National Black Cat Appreciation Day” by spotlighting Midnight, the Town’s official cat. He was adopted from the Richmond County Animal Shelter and according to officials is responsible for various paperwork reshuffling, defending office staff from any intruders, and greeting every Town resident and visitor as they enter the office. Hobbies include bird watching, naps, and furniture reupholstering. Midnight has been with the town for the last 2 years.
