A pair of Lancaster County candidates decided to withdraw from running for their respective offices. The Rappahannock Record reports Chris Braly is leaving the Irvington Town Council race while Carl Failmezger is no longer a candidate for the Lancaster County School Board. Braly is serving as an interim town council member and will remain in that role until the end of the year. Failmezger’s withdrawal leaves candidate Faith Kemp now running unopposed.
