The Richard Henry Lee and the Thomas Nelson Jr. chapters of the Virginia Society Sons of the American Revolution will conduct a ceremony at the Williams Family Cemetery in Mathews to mark the graves of 2 patriots. According to the Gazette-Journal the ceremony to honor Samuel Williams and John Richards takes place Oct. 3 at 3:00 p.m. and is open to the public. The ceremony is sanctioned by the National Sons of the American Revolution.
