Early voting for the general election begins on Friday. The Virginia Department of Elections says residents will go to their local registration office to cast their ballots before the deadline of Oct. 30. This year’s ballot will include various offices including governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and house of delegates. Those wanting to cast an absentee ballot can also do so starting on Friday.
