The White Stone Town Council is developing plans for a facade improvement project. According to the Rappahannock Record a committee will select applicants who could receive funding in the form of a forgivable loan. The town is allocating $180,000 from its federal Community Development Block Grant award. The Northern Neck Planning District Commission has identified 15 properties which meet the program requirements. The town is currently putting together the committee and other management teams.
