Gloucester County has new regulations on current and future solar power installations. According to the Gazette-Journal one major change is changing the farm’s power capacity and approved locations. The Board of Supervisors added aother faciility category – community-scale – to the existing large-scale, small-scale and utility-scale classifications. Producers are required to comply with generally accepted current national environmental protection and product standards. If a solar panel gets damaged the producer may be ordered to conduct a soil and ground sample test.
