Gloucester County officials say with the tropics beginning to heat up now is the time to sign up for the CodeRED alert system. It’s a free emergency notification service that sends critical communications through phone calls, text messages and through the CodeRED Mobile Alert app. Alerts may be sent to the entire community or specific neighborhoods.
