\Lee Monument Removal Lawsuits Tossed By Supreme Court

The Virginia Supreme Court tosses 2 lawsuits that were filed after Gov. Ralph Northam ordered the removal of the Robert E. Lee monument in Richmond last year. The rulings clear the way for Virginia to remove the statue which officials say is the largest confederate monument in the South. According to Gov. Ralph Northam’s office removing the statue will be a multi-day process and crews are moving quickly to get work underway.
