Middlesex Testing Pipeline System

The Middlesex Water Authority is testing the first section of its pipeline system. Authority Chairman Greg Chambers tells the Southside Sentinel that the initial testing took several days and around 100,000 gallons of water. Chambers says there’s still a number of tasks to complete including chlorinating the test system, finalizing meters and get approval from the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. Most of the water lines are planned to be completed by the end of the year.
