The Middlesex Water Authority is working on getting new pipelines installed to serve St. Clare Walker Middle School and Middlesex Elementary School. Authority Chairman Greg Chambers tells the Southside Sentinel the goal is to get the service installed and operational by Thanksgiving. St. Clare Walker closed early on Aug. 25 because of a water shortage. The central water supply will connect to Locust Hill through pipes on General Puller Highway.
