Rappahannock General Hospital employees are now required to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Hospital officials say the benefits of the vaccine outweigh any personal risk and their priority is to protect associates, providers, patients and families. The vaccine mandate also applies to employees at other companies who work at the hospital. It’s not yet known what the deadline is for obtaining the vaccine or what will happen to workers remaining unvaccinated.
