The Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services is advising those on Medicaid the program is reverting to 34-day supplies for many prescriptions. During Virginia’s COVID-19 health emergency Medicaid members could get a 90-day supply of all their prescription medicines but the state health emergency has ended. Some drugs on the Preferred Drug List will remain available with a 90-day supply. Officials say if your medicines qualify you will first receive two 34-day refills before the return to 90-day refills.
