A poll conducted by Virginia Commonwealth University finds 7 in 10 respondents support the mask wearing requirements in grades K through 12. The survey also determined close to 6 in 10 Virginians would approve of a federal mask-wearing mandate. The majority also say they’re concerned the new coronavirus variants will lead to a worsening pandemic. Over 800 people were contacted between Sept. 7 through 15 and VCU says the margin of error is 5.3%.
