Next week the Lancaster and Northumberland County Virginia Cooperative Extension offices will offer household well water testing in a drive-through format. According to the Rappahannock Record water will be tested for iron, manganese, sulfate, hardness, sodium, copper, nitrate, arsenic, fluoride, pH, total dissolved solids, coliform bacteria, E. coli bacteria and lead.
