A buy from Tennessee visiting his great aunt and uncle in Urbanna ends up finding a scallop shell said to be millions of years old. According to the Southside Sentinel Isacc Griffin was mud-larking along the shoreline with his great uncle when the 10-year-old spotted the 7-1.2 long shell. It is said to be from the Miocene era, which extended from 5 to 23 million years ago. Isaac says he will take the shell to school for show-and-tell.
