“Battle Of The Hook” Reenactment On Saturday & Sunday

The British are returning to Gloucester. According to the Gazette-Journal reenactors will commemorate the 240th anniversary of the American Revolution’s conclusion in Gloucester and Yorktown.The event called “Fire, Smoke & Muskets” takes place Saturday and Sunday in and around the Gloucester court circle from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day. The first Battle of the Hook reenactment, held in 2008, drew nearly 1,500 reenactors and 8,000 spectators.
