Kilmarnock-based Chesapeake Bank pledges $100,000 for Rappahannock General Hospital’s emergency room construction project. According to the Rappahannock Record the bank made the pledge as a way of giving back to the community that’s home to so many of its employees and customers. Construction on the $15 million project began in April and when completed in 2023 will give the hospital an over 900-square foot expansion and converts the existing 8-bed semi-private to a 10-bed fully private facility.
