The Virginia Department of Health reports that COVID-19 related deaths have topped 13,000. There were 2,800 new cases reported on Thursday with the 7-day testing positivity rate at 8.2%. Lancaster County Public Schools is holding a Three Rivers Health district COVID-19 testing event at Lancaster Middle School on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The event is open to all staff, students and families. Officials say those who aree symptomatic, recently traveled or attended a large event should get tested.
