The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is warning of a scam involving text messages and e-mails seeking an individual’s personal information on behalf of the agency. Some messages include a clickable link where the potential victim is asked to enter their info. Officials say they never send messages like that and the link should not be clicked.
