DWR Reacts To Racist Graffiti Discovery

Officials with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources announce they are taking action after racist graffiti was found on public land. Messages were found in August carved into a tree qnd spray-painted on concrete at lands in the western part of the state.The graffiti has since been removed. DWR is developing a plan with initiatives that specifically address outreach to currently underrepresented populations and creating welcoming environments.
