The DOT announces that a routine scheduled inspection of the Robert O. Norris Bridge begins on Monday so Route 3 travelers can expect brief delays crossing the bridge over the Rappahannock River between Lancaster and Middlesex counties throughout the month of October. Inspection work takes place between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and during those times a portion of the bridge will be reduced to a single travel lane. Automated flagging devices will direct traffic through the work zone.
