When the Nov. 2 election results come in for House of Delegates races the winners won’t know if they will be serving a 2-year or 1-year term. And it’s all because of a lawsuit filed by a Richmond attorney over the use of outdated district mapping for House elections. The suit claims that since the old boundaries are being used elections would need to be held again next year with the updated districts. An initial hearing is set for Nov 8.
