LCL Getting New Mobile Library

The Lancaster Community Library is getting a new mobile library thanks to communite efforts. Library director Alice Cooper tells the Rappahannock Record that funding from the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, The River Counties Community Foundation and Friends of the Library book sales is paying to replace the library’s 30-year-old mobile library. Cooper says it was funding from the Jessie Ball duPont Fund that paid for the original mobile library. The new vehicle is planned to be in service by the summer of 2022.
