The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is warning of a phone scam making the rounds involving their department. The individual says they’re calling about an account with the sheriff’s office. Officials say they would never call about any account or to collect money so do not fall for this scam and never give out any personal information over the phone.
If you get one of these calls and are concerned call the Sheriff’s Office to report it.
