The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors got an earful from Merry Point residents who are frustrated with the destruction and threats from pigs running loose. According to News on the Neck the residents blame the problem on a resident who has an unkempt property with dilapidated boats and broken down vehicle. A Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources biologist explained to the board the harm wild pigs can cause. Board Chairman Ernest Palin said sometimes it takes a while to get things corrected.
