Monmouth Poll Puts Governor’s Race At Tie

A Monmouth University poll finds the Virginia gubernatorial race is now a tie with Terry McAuliffeand Glenn Youngkin each garnering 46% of respondents. This is a 3-point loss for McAuliffe and a 3-point gain for Youngkin. The survey showed Youngkin ganied support from independent voters moving to a 48% to 39% lead now compared with a 37% to 46% deficit in September. The poll was taken from October 16 to 19 and has a +/- 3.1% margin of error.
