Rappahannock Electric Cooperative announced that more than 20 local organizations are sharing in close to $93,000 from the cooperative’s “Power of Change” program which is funded by coop member donations. The program allows members to “round up” their bill to the next whole dollar or designate a one-time donation or give a set monthly amount. The cooperative then awards those donations twice a year to nonprofits and charitable organizations throughout the communities REC serves.
