Dominion Energy customers could see a one-time refund under a settlement between the utility and the Virginia State Corporation Commission along with Attorney General Mark Herring. According to a Dominion news release the settlement means the average customer could see a refund of around $67. It also calls for rate cuts of about a dollar per month. The commission has been reviewing Dominion’s rates and determined the utility was overcharging customers.
