It’s time to register for the “Timberneck Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk Fundraiser” taking place Nov. 20 in Gloucester. The course is a flat, paved, 3.1-mile loop, beginning and ending with scenic views of the Timberneck House overlooking the York River. The race is limited to 100 participants and registration deadline is Oct. 22. The $50 registration fee includes the $5 state park entrance fee, a race t-shirt, a swag bag, and two free raffle tickets for a race-day raffle.
