The Virginia Bureau of Criminal Investigation is conducting a inquiry into the actions of a former Middlesex County Sheriff’s Deputy. According to a news release the sheriff’s office referred the case to the Chesapeake Field Office but no information was given on the deputy’s actions or when they happened. It’s also not clear if the actions occurred while the deputy was working for the Sheriff’s office. The former deputy’s name was withheld.
