A police impersonation charge is brought in a Gloucester County incident where a man was seen waving a gun. Police say it started in a George Washington Highway convenience store parking lot and witnesse said the man was taking pictures of vehicles. Officers found a weapon and a plain metal badge in his car. In addition to the impersonation charge the man who is from Newport News is also charged with being in possession of a firearm while being the respondent of a protective order.
