Efforts continue in the construction of a nature trail at Cooks Corner. According to the Southside Sentinel the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors appropriated more than $125,000 which is being added to an existing $100,000 appropriation to hire a company which will build a base trail behind the Cooks Corner Office Complex on General Puller Highway. The county could spend close to $130,000 more if construction of wetland bridges and expanded parking takes place.
