A accident Monday on the Downing Bridge takes the life of a Hague man. Police say a car driven by Jacob Risau was hit head-on by a pickup truck that crossed the center line. Risau and a passenger were hospitalzed with serious injuries as well as the pickup’s driver. There’s been no word on the passenger’s condition or that of the pickup’s driver. Traffic was backed up in Tappahannock and Warsaw for around 5 hours.
