An investigation is under way into a string of Gloucester County catalytic converter thefts at repair shops. Police say the first theft occurred between Nov. 5 and Nov. 11 and the most recent one was on Nov. 18. A total of 12 catalytic converters were taken. Converters contain precious metals which can be stripped and resold for large sums. Contact the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office with any information on the thefts.
