The Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting where bullets hit a parked school bus. According to investigators the bus was parked at a Sunnybank residence and was not being used for official school business. Damaged occured to the windhield, headlight and side. It’s not believed that the bus was targeted. Northumberland County Public Schools issued a statement saying they are continuing to work with the Sheriff’s Office on the investigation.
