Virginia’s COVID-19 vaccine coordinator Dr. Danny Avula says the Department of Health stands ready to provide boosters to any adult who wants one. This comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that those 18 and older are now eligible to get a booster shot. Avula says there are no supply issues and boosters are available at pharmacies, your healthcare provider, your local health department and Community Vaccination Centers.
