Virginia Supreme Court Rejects All Republican Redistrictring Nominees

There’s another snag in Virginia’s redistricting work now that the state Supreme Court rejected the Republican nominations for an assistant to aid in the map drawing process. The court ordered the GOP to put forward new nominees and told Democrat leaders to add another nominee as one dropped out from the running last week. The state’s redistricting commission couldn’t agree on new district boundaries so it’s now in the court’s hands.
